Tell us about your love story

Honestly, our love story is as corny as they come. We met while walking the corridors of the Hospital where we both worked. Plain and simple, we just had such a strong connection from the start; it was so easy. Life took a slight turn, but no matter what, we just couldn’t be apart. We are now happily married and expecting our fourth baby to complete our crazy, beautiful family.

You chose the beautiful Great Lakes Winery for your ceremony and reception. Why did you choose this venue, and what made it special to you?

The outdoors are so important to us – the beauty of the land, the space, and the scenery. The venue is truly outstanding, far enough away to make it feel like it's just about you and your family. Food has always been a big part of our relationship; we love quality and variety. The Great Lakes menu is incredible, and it was so easy and fun to create the perfect menu for our guests.

What were the most important floral and styling elements in your wedding? Can you explain your vision and how Bloom Daddy helped bring it all to life?

Our vision was a beautiful, grand garden party, and Pete - Bloom Daddy - brought it to life in the most perfect way. We wanted the biggest, grandest night, with beautiful florals, incredible food, lots of bubbles, and of course, a dance floor that was pumping.

What was it like working with Bloom Daddy during the planning process and on your wedding day?

Our consultation was fun and effortless - we both felt so comfortable with Bloom Daddy. He truly captured our vision, and the final result was even better than we had imagined. The elegant, bright, and simply stunning design set our special day apart. Paired with the incredible venue, lighting, and furniture, it all came together like a true love story.

Looking back, what advice would you give to other couples about choosing their florist or stylist?

Go big and have trust in the people you’re dealing with. Share your vison and let them create it.

What moment during your wedding day stands out the most to you?

For both of us, it was that first glimpse of what Bloom Daddy had created - the grandest of garden parties with stunning backdrops… and, of course, my gorgeous wife. Oh, and the incredible dance floor vibe!

If you could describe your wedding in three words, what would they be?

It only needs one… Perfect!
